Chip'n Dipped® guarantees our cookies and chocolates to arrive fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee freshness if the address you provide is incorrect or incomplete. Please avoid address correction or package forwarding charges by carefully checking house numbers, street names, and zip codes. Apartment or suite numbers are essential. Please check the time-in-transit map before choosing a shipping method.
Warm Weather Shipping
During months of warmer weather (May-September), Chip'n Dipped will add ice packs and cooler bags as necessary to help prevent melting. This is added for orders with a one day shipping time at not extra charge. Some melting may occur during shipping and we can't be responsible if that occurs. RED LABEL AIR is strongly recommended during this time to insure freshness and our guarantee. If we're shipping to your area and it's above 80 deg, please call us to help choose which shipping option is right for you. We try to avoid weekend delays as often as possible.
Future Delivery Date Orders
All orders placed with a future ship date will ship as close to that ship date as possible, but it could ship early. We can only ship on a chosen. We can not guarantee arrival dates. Free and Ground shipping can take as long as 10 business days to arrive. Only overnight delivery can be guaranteed to arrive on a specific date.
Same Day Deliveries By Messenger Service
Monday thru Friday, same day messenger service is avalible for deliveries on Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn & Manhattan. Orders must be called in and received before 11am EST. Messenger service typically costs $35.00 to Western Suffolk, Nassau, Queens & Manhattan. Eastern Suffolk & Brooklyn can be more. Call for details.
In-Store Pick Up
All in-store pick-up orders will be processed within 24 hours, unless a future pick-up date is specified. We send you an e-mail when your order is complete. Please pick up as soon as possible to keep your gift fresh and delicious. If your order isn't picked up within 14 days from notification, your order will be cancelled with no refunds. The items that you ordered will be donated to our local food bank.
Redirected Packages
UPS charges us an additional fee or delivery when incorrect or incomplete addresses are given. This fee will be charged to your credit card. We cannot extend our guarantee to packages sent to incorrect addresses. Packages returned because of incorrect addresses or refusals, are added to our weekly donations to local food banks and shelters. You can see if your package was returned with the tracking information. It's the customer's responsibility to check.
Substitution Policy
To make sure your gift arrives on time, we may find it necessary to substitute an item of equal or greater value.
State Sales Tax
State Sales Tax will be collected for shipments to New York.
Hospital/College Notice
When delivering to colleges, hospitals or hotels, we can only guarantee delivery to their mail room or receiving department. It is then up to this department to deliver the package to the in a timely manner to the correct recipient.
